Col. (r) Michele Ciorra

Colonel A.A.r.a. Michele Ciorra was born in Rome and attended O.N.F.A. Military College based at the Airport Luigi Conti in Cadimare (SP) where he enlilsted on January 23rd, 1976. He attended the Frequenta 50th Course A.U.C. at the S.A.A.M. in Florence and on December 10th, 1978 got promoted Second Lieutenant A.A.r.s..

On October 25th, 1979 he is sent to the Command of 2nd Deposito Centrale A.M. of Gallarate (VA) and, until he is promoted Commander, held all the offices related to the Logistics Specialty - M.S.A.. On June. 3rd, 1990 he is appointed Chief of Official Section at the D.T.P. in the Command 1st Aerial Region in Milan. Between October 26th, 1994 and September 11th, 2007 h holds the office of Commander before in the 1st Gruppo Ricezione and Smistamento of Novara and after at the Command of the 2nd Deposito Centrale A.M.. His last four years in service have been at the Airport Command in Cameri.

The many opportunities F.A. offers its Personnel granted Col. Ciorra to have experience in different fields: peace-keeping missions in several scenarios of European partners UK, Germany, Spain, Norvegia have been preparatory for supports in USA, Egypt, Albania and more articulated situations. Necessary activities and knowledge to fulfill the duties of Corps Commander over the last twenty years of his career.
