Elettra Tirino

Elettra Tirino obtained her bachelor degree in “Sociology” at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna and then proceeded with the master degree in “Development and International Cooperation Sciences” at La Sapienza University of Rome.

During her academic career, she attended the master “Global Governance” for one semester at the University of Georgia in Tbilisi.

Elettra has a special interest in issues related to food security and food sovereignty in South America and around the world.

In Mondo Internazionale G.E.O., Elettra is a Senior Researcher for the Environment thematic area.
