Elettra Tirino

Elettra Tirino obtained her bachelor degree in Sociology at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, as well as the master degree in Development and International Cooperation Sciences at La Sapienza University of Rome.

During her academic career, she attended the master “Global Governance” for one semester at the University of Georgia in Tbilisi.

Elettra has a special interest in issues related to food security and food sovereignty in South America and around the world.

Elettra joined Mondo Internazionale as a Senior Researcher for the Environment area of the G.E.O. division.
