Francesco Mitrangolo

Francesco Mitrangolo attended the NCO School of the Italian Air Force, obtaining a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Tuscia in Viterbo. He produced a thesis focusing on Arabic Language and Culture, centered around the connection between the terrorist organization Al Qaeda and the assassinations in Syria.

Subsequently, he earned a master’s degree in Political Science and International Security, as well as Public Communication, from the University of Tuscia in Viterbo. His thesis in public law of security and legality revolved around the theme of Official Secret and parliamentary oversight. This thesis marked the inception of his interest in security law, legality, and the Information System for the Security of the Republic.

Currently, he is enrolled in a Level II Master's program as an Intelligence Specialist at Link University in Rome.

Through his employment in various units of the Italian Air Force, both domestically and internationally, he has had the opportunity to nurture his passion for intelligence and geopolitical conflicts. His primary interests include not only geopolitics and intelligence but also law, negotiation strategies, and the history of international relations. He aims to adopt a holistic approach to understanding international dynamics, with a primary focus on the African region and the Middle/Near East.

In Mondo Internazionale G.E.O. Francesco Mitrangolo is a Junior Researcher for the Defense and Security area.
