Giulia Trombelli

Giulia Trombelli graduated in International and Diplomatic Sciences at the University of Trieste with a thesis on the evolution of France's presence in Sub-Saharan Africa from the 1960s until 2014, whose objective was to explore how French influence affected the state-building process of francophone countries since independence. She is currently attending the Master of International Security at Sciences Po Paris (PSIA), majoring in African Studies and Diplomacy. She aims for a career in research or war journalism.

Throughout her academic and professional career, Giulia has worked on several editorial projects, mainly dealing with Sahel and strategic-military issues. Curious and passionate, she is always looking for the right words to describe the reality around her. Above all, she enjoys hunting for the small useless details that lie behind every story.

Within Mondo Internazionale, Giulia has held the position of Proofreader since 2024.
