João Victor Silva Rodrigues

João Victor Silva Rodrigues is Junior Researcher for the Politics area of Mondo Internazionale G.E.O. He is also a master’s degree student at the University of Milan, where he was awarded the Academic Excellence Scholarship for the university’s Politics, Philosophy and Public Affairs degree. 

Having graduated in International Relations at Ibmec, Brazil, he worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant for the International Relations Theory course. In the past, he researched about the development of Christian practices in China, Chinese history, as well as pop culture and soft power in Japan.

His current research interests are political solidarity, postcolonial studies, International Relations Theory, as well as regional studies of Latin America, Southeast Asia and Africa.
