Matilde Ferrari

Matilde Ferrari graduated with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Groningen in July 2023.

Next to her academic career, she worked as treasurer of the European Committee in the student association AEGEE-Groningen, whose aim was to organize events and workshops to bring young people closer to Europe and its services. She also served as Treasurer of the Events Committee of the International Relations student association, within which she had the opportunity to organize conferences and events for over 2000 members. In addition to her experience in the Netherlands, Matilde spent her Erasmus semester in Montpellier, France, further developing her interest in the French-speaking world and its peculiarities.
Currently, she works as Project Coordinator with the youth organization 'La Fenice APS' within the framework of European exchanges and Erasmus + training. Thanks to this experience she has developed strong skills in project management, both at administrative and logistic level and therefore, she wishes to continue to develop in this area, also in larger contexts.
In academia, her main interests lie in democratization, transition to democracy, social and environmental justice.

She joined Mondo Internazionale as Administration Specialist in November 2023 and she is also Secretary of Mondo Internazionale Hub.
