Stefania Paterno

Stefania Paterno graduated in International Relations and Global Affairs at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and is currently a master’s student in International Sustainability Management at ESCP Business School. She has an excellent command of the English language, also thanks to the various study experiences in the United States, including a semester spent at the University of California, Berkeley. During her studies, she also obtained C1 level certifications in German and Spanish, and has recently started studying French. 

Among the experiences that have shaped her the most is a six-month internship at an NGO based in Milan, which allowed her to work closely with the head of international programs, where she was able to experience firsthand the drafting of humanitarian aid programs, especially related to the situation of refugees in Ukraine. She also participated in a Model United Nations held in New York, and was recently selected by the Italian Institute of International Politics – ISPI to take part in a G20 simulation. 

Her interests range from international politics and geopolitics, climate change and how companies can help mitigate and adapt to it. 

For Mondo Internazionale G.E.O. she holds the position of Junior Researcher in the Environment, Climate and Energy Area.
