Sara Galetta

Sara Galetta is a student of “International Economics and Commerce” at University of Ancona.

She was born in Giulianova in 2000; after the High school diploma in foreign languages, she started their university studies in International Relation and Diplomatic Affairs at University of Bologna. She graduated with honors in July 2022 and after that she started her Master studies in International Economics and Commerce, with the aim to work in international institutions and organizations.

In January 2023 she was rewarded from Italy-Usa Foundation with “Premio America Giovani” at the House of Deputies, an award for 1000 deserving young graduates of Italian universities. With it, she was granted a full scholarship for the Master in "Leadership for international relations and Made in Italy".

Her main interests are international relations, in particular in the European context, and international economy, with a look at development cooperation in the poorest countries.

She spent six months living in Germany, participating at Erasmus + program at University of Potsdam thanks to her passion for foreign cultures and languages.

In her role of Junior Researcher in the Economic Division, she hopes for implementing her studies in the research she will do and learning more about topics of her interest.
